Asbury Church of Chesterfield to celebrate Tartan Sunday

CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- This Sunday, in a low key service entitled "The Kirkin of the Tartans," Asbury not only celebrates the Scottish heritage of many within our community with Tartan Sunday, but also continues their journey through Lent and toward Easter. Through a message that talks about the history and heritage unique to one corner of the world, and expressed in the tartan, we will remember the call that is upon each of us to step out and up for faith. Those of Scottish descent as well as those who would like to be Scottish for a day, are invited to wear the tartan of your clan or of your choosing.

Asbury is a theologically progressive and politically diverse family committed to welcoming all. Everyone is welcome to attend the services on Sundays at 10 a.m. For more information or directions, visit the church’s Facebook page or
