Autumn Moon Festival atop Memorial Park
BRATTLEBORO - Asian Cultural Center of Vermont (ACCVT) presents the 15th Annual Autumn Moon Festival which is celebrated in Vietnam, Korea, China and Japan, in Brattleboro, atop Living Memorial Park, Monday evening, Sept. 8, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.., rain or shine under the Kiwanis Pavilion. Activities include crafts, stories, songs, food, t’ai chi, paper lanterns, Chinese exercises, the Korean rope tug and more. Then watch the harvest moon rise. The celebration will start with a pot-luck (bring a dish to share). For more information visit accvt.org.
This event is free and for all ages. Donations to ACCVT, a 501(c)(3) educational resource organization, are appreciated to help defray the cost of holding events, including space rental and supplies for activities.
