Bashaw is Reformer Athlete of the Week
BRATTLEBORO >> Bellows Falls softball player Alyson Bashaw received 47 votes to earn Refrmer Athlete of the Week honors for April 17-23.
The junior slugger racked up five hits and also drove in five runs during a 30-3 rout of Whitchester. Two days before that, she led the Terriers with three hits and three RBI's in a loss to Rutland.

Leland & Gray's starting pitcher was dominant during her varsity softball team's 18-1 rout of Bellows Falls. She fanned six, walked just one and scattered five hits in the game that was halted after five frames due to the mercy rule.
The freshman third baseman drove in six runs to help the Brattleboro varsity softball team to a 13-4 decision over Fair Haven, including a two-run single and a grand slam. She then finished with two hits as the Colonels crushed Otter Valley, 14-0.
The Brattleboro starter scored eight points in a thrilling Unified basketball game versus Springfield. He turned a couple of steals into layups to give the Colonels a 26-22 lead with five minutes left, before the Cosmos finished with an 8-0 run.
The senior scored four goals to lead the Brattleboro boys lacrosse team during a 12-9 loss to Rutland. He also had a hat trick when the Colonels fell to Burr and Burton 20-8 at Natowich Field.
