BRATTLEBORO — The Bellows Falls varsity baseball team fell to Rutland 7-3 on Thursday and then was blanked by Burr and Burton 5-0 on Saturday.

Zach Streeter pitched all six innings against the Bulldogs, striking out three, walking zero and giving up seven hits. Brady Illingworth (9 K's, 3 hits) got the start versus Rutland, while Jacob Streeter finished with a pair of hits to lead the BF attack.

Illingworth was the hero on Wednesday, when his walk-off single gave Bellows Falls a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over visiting Brattleboro in extra innings. Clayton Groenwold, Alex Groenwold, Zach Streeter and Illingworth all had one hit in that one.

The 2-2 Terriers will host MAU on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
