BF woman wins at Monadnock


WINCHESTER, N.H. -- Alyssa Rivera, of Bellows Falls, won Saturday night's Super Stocks race at Monadnock Speedway. She defeated 10 other drivers, including point division leader Tom Carey III of New Salem, Mass.

Rivera is currently fifth in the standings with 354 points. Her car's sponsor is 95.3 The Wolf.

The other race winners on Saturday were: Todd Patnode (Sportsman Modifieds), Chris McTaggart (Mini Stocks), Dave Greenslit (Thunder Stocks), Kyle Boniface (Lightning Stocks), and Hayley Guy (Young Guns).

There isn't any racing at Monadnock Speedway this weekend. The Nationwide and Sprint Cup races are being held in Loudon, N.H.

On Saturday, July 19, the track will host the O'Reilly Auto Parts 200, featuring the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. Also taking to the track will be: Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Lightning Stocks, Thunder Stocks, and the Young Guns. The admission prices will be: $30 for adults, $20 for seniors, $5 for children 13-18 and free for ages 12 and under.
