Bellows Falls Police Department wants you to 'adopt an angel'

Posted
BELLOWS FALLS — The Bellows Falls Police Department will be accepting applications for its "Adopt an Angel" program starting Nov. 1. This program is designed to help families in need by providing gifts this holiday season.

Any families that are interested in applying should stop by the Bellows Falls Police Department and pick up an application. Applications are due back to the Bellows Falls Police Department no later than Dec. 16.

Anyone that is interested in adopting an "Angel" should stop by the Bellows Falls Police Department and select an angel off of the Christmas tree. You may also drop off a new, unwrapped, gift that will be given out to a child in need. If you are selecting an "Angel," gifts are due back to the Bellows Falls Police Department, unwrapped, by Dec. 20.

Due to the limited police department's lobby hours, the lobby will be opened on Nov. 18 and Dec. 11, between 9 a.m. to noon for people to sign up for the Adopt an Angel program and for people to drop off gifts.

If you have any questions or are interested in participating in this program, contact the "Adopt an Angel" coordinator, Alisha Beam, at the Bellows Falls Police Department at 802-463-1234.
