Brattleboro Area Hospice seeks donations

BRATTLEBORO >> Brattleboro Area Hospice requests that the community dig deep into your closets, dressers, attics and barns to pull out the treasures that once meant so much to you but now might mean more to someone else.

BAH is looking for smaller items; specialty nick-knacks and curios, scarves, retro and fun clothing, period jewelry, art and other unique collector's items. Smaller furniture is also welcome. BAH needs these special and unique donations as contributions to our newest and perhaps most exciting extension yet of the Experienced Goods shopping adventure that we're calling Pop-Up@77Flat. The event is an online shopping opportunity that will Pop-Up monthly.

A new themed window at Experienced Goods at 77 Flat St., featuring that month's auction items will be unveiled at 5 p.m. on the first Friday of each month starting May 6. The online auction will go live at that time and will then run throughout the month. All communication will take place online with bidders notified of their bid's status. Auctions will run May through November (seven different auctions in total) with a grand and fun-filled, live pop-up shopping extravaganza taking place in December. Instructions on how and where to bid will be available at or at Experienced Goods beginning Monday, May 2.

As this event will be taking place throughout 2016, the community will be reminded throughout the year to keep its eyes open for possible treasures. Donations can be delivered to Experienced Goods Thrift Shop at 77 Flat Street in downtown Brattleboro Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Call 802-254-8174 if you have items to donate. Pick up is possible.
