Brattleboro Dawn Dance returns this Sunday
BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Memorial Day Dawn Dance will be held on Sunday at the Gibson-Aiken Center at 207 Main St.
The Dawn Dance, which takes place each year on Memorial Day and Labor Day, draws dancers from far and wide for the chance to dance the night away to a selection of the finest musicians and callers in the country.
The contra dance begins at 8 p.m., and ends at 7 a.m., and features three bands and three callers, including Lisa Greenleaf with Tidal Wave, Steve Zakon-Anderson with Perpetual e-Motion and Maggie Jo Saylor with Nor’easter.

There will also be a special English dance on May 26 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., at the Stone Church, across the street from the Gibson-Aiken Center, with Adina Gordon calling and music by A Trip to Norwich. To reserve tickets for the English dance, visit www.absoluterealty.org/Dance.
