Brattleboro Gymnastics Level 2 Team strikes gold


BRATTLEBORO -- Brattleboro Gymnastics recently competed at the Hip Hop Classic Invitational meet that was held at Woodman Athletics, versus teams from Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The Brattleboro Gymnastics Level 2 Team took first place overall with a combined team score of 106.650. Level 2 team members are: Lily Bingham (ranked 1st), Nora Fay (ranked 2nd), Audrey Renaud (ranked 4th), Alexa Montgomery (ranked 5th), Sylvia Moshevitis (ranked 6th) and Cameron Lawrence (ranked 13th). It was the first time competing for five of the six girls.

The Brattleboro Gymnastics Level 3 Team took second place overall in the AA division. The Level 3 team consists of: Maxine Lehnartz, Clara Seymour, Mya Frazier, Ainsley Meyer, Sara Miller, Brenna Beebe, Anna Hubbard, Lydia Hazzard-Leal, Kiera Noble, Izlin Wienberg, Sophia Mark, Kalin Noble and Annalise Bartlett. Frazier had the highest AA score of all competitors at the meet.

Also representing Brattleboro Gymnastics were: Olivia Howe (Level 4), Genevieve Darling (Xcel Gold) and Lindsey Rose (Level 8). All Brattleboro Gymnastics team members qualified for the Vermont State meet to be held in Bellows Falls on March 29-30.

Brattleboro Gymnastics is located at the Brattleboro Recreation Department on Main Street and is coached by Amanda Montgomery, Bethany Martin and Lorraine Cote.
