Brattleboro hockey loses opener, 8-0

BRATTLEBORO — Luc Issa had a hat trick and the Woodstock varsity boys ice hockey team trampled Brattleboro, 8-0, in Wednesday night's season opener at Memorial Park.

Steven Townley and Josh Kennedy each tallied twice for the Wasps while Braden McCarthy also split the posts. Jason Drebber made five saves to earn the shutout.

The 0-1 Colonels will play at Northfield on Saturday at 5 p.m.
