Brattleboro Late Night 2015 event schedule


BRATTLEBORO >> Events scheduled for New Year's Eve day in town include a free toddler and pre-school celebration at KidsPlayce on Elliot Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by The Marina and Brattleboro Rotary.

From noon to 1 p.m. there will be a senior potluck lunch at the Gibson Aiken Senior Center on Main Street, with music from The Year's End Trio, sponsored by River Valley Credit Union.

From 1 to 4 p.m., Fairwinds Farm on Upper Dummerston Road is offering sleigh rides for the whole family; $8 for adults and $3 for children.

From 4 to 5 p.m. there will be children's music in the Brattleboro Retreat's education conference center, featuring Steven Lindholm and sponsored by Brattleboro Savings & Loan. The cost is a non-perishable food item.

Brattleboro Bowl is offering a special rate on lane rental, which includes shoes, pizza and soda, for $52, at 5 and 7:15 p.m. Call 802-257-1177 to reserve a lane.

The Boys & Girls Club will host a teen dance party from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., sponsored by Chroma Technology and Dead River.

From 6 to 9 p.m., there will be free skating at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility, including door prizes and free chocolate. Weather permitting, there will be $5 skiing at Living Memorial Park, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

From 7 to 9 p.m., The Amidons & Murphy/Tracy Family will perform at the First Baptist Church on Main Street. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 through 14 and free to children 5 and younger. Sponsored by Putnam Insurance and Members First Credit Union.

Fireworks at the Retreat Meadows starting at 9:30 p.m., sponsored by C&S Wholesale Grocers.
