Brattleboro man accused of robbing delivery driver

BRATTLEBORO >> A suspect in the robbery of a delivery driver was arrested Monday morning.

Brattleboro Police Department responded to a reported robbery near 72 Canal Street on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 8:50 p.m.

"It was learned that a Domino's delivery driver had been robbed by a male brandishing a knife. The robber fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money. There were no injuries reported," police wrote in a press release issued Monday. "The Brattleboro Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division was notified and responded to investigate the robbery."

Michael J. Lenois Jr., 26, of Brattleboro, was arrested after investigation led police to develop probable cause, the press release said. He was arrested without incident Monday morning while walking on Canal Street.

Lenois is facing charges of aggravated assault and robbery, and larceny from person. He is currently being held at the Brattleboro Police Department on $10,000 bail pending his arraignment in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division.
