Brattleboro paving schedule

BRATTLEBORO -- Milling of three streets was completed on Aug. 14 and clean up around structures and along curb lines is taking place as planned on Aug. 15.

Resurfacing has been pushed back to Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 20 and 21. The tentative schedule has Lane Construction starting on Cotton Mill Hill, followed by Fairground Road and Birge Street. The second day should be Chapin Street, Grove Street and finally Guilford Street.

This can change with rainy weather between now and then.

Milling and paving on Western Avenue is scheduled for the night of Friday, Aug. 22, with a rain date of Saturday, Aug. 23. Lane Construction plans to do all work in one night using a large crew of people, starting at 6 p.m. and continuing through the night into early morning. The work area is between Brattle Street and Edward Heights.

Motorists should expect delays.
