Senior Center closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Upcoming trips

Nov. 13, Best of Times trip to Mohegan Sun and the Garde Arts Theater to see the "Kings of Country" for $82; includes show, casino package, transportation and driver’s gratuity. Tribute feature Philip Bauer as Johnny Cash, Marion Deaton as Willy Nelson, and Marty Edward as Kenny Rogers.

Anyone interested in a trip to see the Vienna Boys Choir performing in the area in late November and early December should contact the Senior Center at 802-257-7570, between 9 and 11:30 a.m. with name, number of people and telephone number. Definite numbers are needed before the trip can be booked.

Meals menu, served at noon

and Meals-On-Wheels

Monday: Closed for Columbus Day.

Tuesday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., French toast, home fries, sausage, fruit, yogurt, juice. Lunch: Baked chicken breast, oven roasted potatoes, butternut squash, peaches and cream.

Wednesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, California mixed vegetables, garlic bread, plum and apricot compote.

Thursday: Herbed roast pork, sweet potato, steamed broccoli, cake and ice cream.

Friday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Scrambled eggs with boursin, and spinach, vegetable hash with celeriac, turnip and carrots, scone, fruit, juice and yogurt. Lunch: Breaded Haddock squares, potato wedges, green beans and tomato, pineapple.
