10 a.m., Tai Chi with Susan.

10:30 a.m., Practice bridge playing with Anne.

11 a.m., International Folk Dancing, accommodations made for those who wish to dance in a chair.

12:45 p.m., Beginning Bridge with Dennis.


9 a.m., Tennis at Living Memorial Park.

9:30 a.m., Knitting group.

9:30 a.m., Painting and sequencing with Marilyn.

9:30 a.m., Strength training with Cyndy Gray.

12:45 p.m., Grocery shopping at Hannaford.

1 p.m., Movie Day.


9 a.m., Wednesdays Writers’ Group.

9 a.m., Wiffle ball playing in the gym.

9 a.m., Senior basketball playing.

9:30 a.m., Mixed Media Art Group.

10:15 a.m., Yoga with CB.

10:45 a.m., Line dancing lessons with Richard.

12:30 p.m., Duplicate bridge.

12:45 p.m., Van trip to Wal-Mart.


9:15 a.m., Senior bowling.

9:30 a.m., Tennis playing at Living Memorial Park.

12:45 p.m., Van trip to Price Chopper.

Upcoming trips

Dec. 4, 2012 Tye’s Tour & Travel will offer the Vienna Boys Choir at Springfield (Mass.) Symphony Hall, Springfield, lunch at the Golden Corral. A few tickets are still available.

If anyone is interested in a trip to the south to get a break from the winter weather, contact Jessy.

A list of trips for 2013 wit Best of Times is now available. Trips being considered are: The Women of Ireland, March 15, featuring dancers and singers; May 14, John Denver Tribute by Ted Vigil, Rocky Mountain High; Sept. 11 Memorial in New York City; West Point Academy and Hudson River Valley; and Lynhurst Castle with dinner theater. Further information will be announced in Senior Travel News and at travel planning sessions in the spring.

Meals menu, served at noon

and Meals-On-Wheels

Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potato, glazed carrots, pineapple.

Tuesday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., French toast, home fries, sausage, fruit, yogurt, juice. Lunch: Tuna salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato, turkey soup, coleslaw, tropical fruit.

Wednesday: Quiche Lorraine, roasted tomatoes, potato, mango.

Thursday: Baked chicken tenders, beets and sweets, lemon broccoli, Orange Julius.

Friday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Scrambled eggs with boursin and spinach, vegetable hash with celeriac, turnip and carrots, scone and fruit, juice, yogurt. Lunch: Salmon pea wiggle over biscuit, green beans and tomato, seasoned spinach, apricot pudding.
