The Highland Games are Sept. 21 and the cost is only $99. Several people have already made reservations but we need more people for the trip. See the various clans in full dress, listen to the bagpipes, watch the native games and enjoy a lunch from one of the many vendors offering many choices from Scottish specialties or good old American favorites. It will be a fun-filled day at Loon Mountain located in the heart of the White Mountains in Lincoln, NH. We spoke with many people who have been attending and enjoying this festival for years.

Save the date of Oct. 29 to see The Angels, The Tokens and Jimmy Clanton at the Garde Arts Theatre in New London, CT. Some of the hits you will remember are: "My Boyfriends Back," "Till," "Go Jimmy Go," "Just a Dream," "She Cried," and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". Before the show we will have lunch and stop at the Coast Guard Academy and the museum store before the 3 p.m. show. The cost is only $89 and does not include tour director and bus driver gratuities of $4 each.

Call the Senior Center for additional information and trips contact Jessy Cudworth, Assistant Director, at 1-802- 257-7570. Check out our September Newsletter on under the Senior Center tab.
