9:30 a.m., Softball at Living Memorial Park

9:30 a.m., Knitting group.

9:30 a.m., Painting and sequencing with Marilyn.

9:30 a.m., Strength training with Cyndy Gray.

10:30 a.m., Windham Walkers: Little Black Mtn.

12:45 p.m., Grocery shopping at Hannaford.


9 a.m., Wednesdays Writers’ Group.

9 a.m., Wiffle ball playing in the gym.

9 a.m., Senior basketball playing.

9:30 a.m., Mixed Media Art Group.

10:45 a.m., Line dancing lessons with Richard.

11 a.m., Transportation from Putney.

12:30 p.m., Duplicate bridge.

1:30 p.m., Time Share, Sewing Recycle Material Bags.

10:30 a.m., Practice bridge playing with Anne.

12:45 p.m., Van trip to Price Chopper.

Upcoming events

Tye’s Tours will sponsor the annual trip to Maine on Aug. 8 and 9. "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" will be the play at the Ogunquit Playhouse. Lunch at the Weathervane; dinner after at The Lobster Dock; trolley, stroll the beach, swim in the indoor pool at the Hampton Inn in Wells. Second day, sail around Portland Harbor, visit When Pig’s Fly Bread Company. Cost: $279 dbl. or $329 single.

The Highland Games are Sept. 21 and the cost is only $99. Several people have already made reservations, but more are needed to make the trip.

Meals menu, served at noon

and Meals-On-Wheels

Monday: American chop suey, broccoli, garlic bread, pineapple.

Tuesday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage, home fries, juice, fruit, yogurt. Lunch: Pork chops, baked potato skins, Brussels sprouts, cookie.

Wednesday: Tuna noodle casserole with eggs, peas, carrots, Orange Julius.

Thursday: Picnic at Living Memorial Park, Hamburger deluxe, potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon.

Friday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Vegetable frittata, home fries, fruit, yogurt, juice, muffin. Lunch: Very veggie omelet, cauliflower medley, potato pancakes, peaches.
