On Tuesday, May 14, Best of Times is offering a trip to see "Rocky Mountain High" by Ted Vigil performing as John Denver. The deadline for reservations is April 23, but tickets are expected to sell out soon. The first stop is Mohegan Sun with an afternoon show by Vigil at the Garde Theatre. People who don’t enjoy the casino can walk, shop, read and have an early lunch at their leisure.

Tye’s Tours will sponsor the annual trip to Maine with a play and other attractions. Suggestions are needed whether to attend one of the smaller summer theaters with time on your own to enjoy the beach, the trolley and many of the area’s quaint shops.

Tye’s Tours presents The Highland Games on Sept. 21, 2013, for $99 which includes Gathering of Scottish Clans, Bands, Fiddle Championships, Scottish Harp (Clarsach) and other competitions.

Banner Tours and Travel is offering A Tasty Tour of Providence, R.I., for $97 which includes tasting and demonstrations at Scialo Brothers Bakery in Providence’s "Little Italy," lunch at Cassarino’s and a tour of the Culinary Arts Museum. A date has not been set for this trip, but this fall is being discussed.

Monday: Chicken stir fry, bulgur and lentil pilaf, citrus glazed carrots, cantaloupe.

Tuesday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Cheese omelets with tomatoes, onions, and peppers, home fries, fruit salad, muffin, yogurt, juice. Lunch: Chef salad bar featuring turkey and ham, tuna macaroni salad, potato and egg salad, watermelon.

Wednesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, California mixed vegetables, garlic bread, apricots.

Thursday: Polynesian pork, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, banana cream pie.

Friday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Citizens Awareness Breakfast: French toast, home fries, sausage, fruit, yogurt, juice. Lunch: Fish cakes with stewed tomatoes, mixed greens, apricot pudding.
