Upcoming trips

Boston Flower and Garden Show, Friday, March 15. Tour is offered by First Choice Tours and Brattleboro Senior Center. Stop by soon at the Brattleboro Senior Center to pay for reservations, Monday to Friday, 9 to 11 a.m.

On Tuesday, May 14, Best of Times is offering a trip to see "Rocky Mountain High" by Ted Vigil performing as John Denver. The deadline for reservations is April 23, but tickets are expected to sell out soon. The first stop is Mohegan Sun with an afternoon show by Vigil at the Garde Theatre. People who don’t enjoy the casino can walk, shop, read and have an early lunch at their leisure.

Tye’s Tours will sponsor the annual trip to Maine with a play and other attractions. Instead of Ogunquit Playhouse, suggestions are needed whether to attend one of the smaller summer theaters with time on your own to enjoy the beach and area specialty shops.

The Keene Seniors are offering A Tasty Tour of Providence, R.I., for $97. It includes the tour, tasting and demonstration at Scialo Brothers Bakery in Providence’s "Little Italy," lunch at Cassarino’s and a tour of the Culinary Arts Museum. Feedback is needed on this trip.

The annual trip planning meeting will be scheduled for March 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the second floor Conference Room at the Senior Center.

Monday: Italian beef stew, seasoned spinach, biscuit, pineapple.

Tuesday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sausage, home fries, fruit, yogurt, juice. Lunch: Shepherd’s pie, raspberry beets, sugar snap peas, tropical fruit.

Wednesday: Tuna fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato, tomato bisque, coleslaw, crackers, mandarin oranges.

Thursday: Corned beef and cabbage, glazed carrots, red potatoes, Irish soda bread, cake and ice cream.

Friday: Breakfast, 7:45-8:15 a.m., Corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, muffin, fruit, juice, yogurt. Lunch: Vegetable frittata, barley risotto, butternut squash, peaches and cream.
