Brattleboro ski express running to Mount Snow


BRATTLEBORO >> The Mount Snow Express Bus has returned for another season.

It runs all Sundays in January and February, as well as on Winter Carnival Thursday, Feb. 18, and Town Meeting Day, March 1.

The bus leaves Academy School at 8 a.m.. stops at the gas station on Route 30 in Dummerston at 8:15 a.m. and arrives at Mount Snow's Sundance Lodge at 9 a.m. The bus leaves Mount Snow at 4 p.m., stops in Dummerston at 4:30 p.m. and arrives at Academy school at 4:45 p.m.

Discounted bus passes are available — six rides for $50. Just bring a check made out to the Brattleboro School Endowment. This is a transportation-only service. Riders are responsible for being at the pick-up and drop-off locations on time. Although there is an adult on the bus, there is no chaperone with any legal responsibility.

Lift tickets for Sunday, Jan. 10, are $45 through the Boys & Girls Club. Call the club at 802-254-5990 for more information. Sunday is also "Youth Pay Their Own Age" day at Mount Snow, which happens only once a year.
