Thursday, July 16: 7:45 a.m., registration for workshops; 10 to 11 a.m. at the River Garden: David Ross, live music; 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., live music at the River Garden, Garrin Benfield. Welcome Festival Community Performance at the River Garden, from 1 to 3 p.m., Creating and Dancing with Your Masks with Jessica Chen from the JCHEN Project and at 2 p.m., Good Dirt: An International Folk Musical with Paul Besaw at Bunker Farm (suggested donation of $10); 3 p.m., "The Snaz" at Pliny Park. Thursday Gala Performance at the Latchis Theater at 4:30 p.m., featuring Ryan P. Casey (performing "Ball Change"), Dorcas Roman, Paul Besaw, Tapella Dance Company, Cyndal Ellis and Tony Nagi and Jessica Chen (tickets required). Reception at the River Garden at 6:30 p.m., with keynote speaker Billbob Brown Speaking on "Refr the Arts In America." (tickets required).
