Brattleboro stickers edged 2-1

BRATTLEBORO — Windsor scored the game-winning goal with eight minutes remaining to beat the Brattleboro varsity field hockey team, 2-1, during Saturday's Homecoming game at Tenney Field.

"Brattleboro played a strong first half," said BUHS co-coach Sheryl Libardoni.

Kalin Noble gave the purple and white a 1-0 lead, assisted by Lacy Slade. Leading the Brattleboro defense were Mya McAuliffe and goalie Natalya Forkin.

The 2-3 Colonels will play at Hartford on Tuesday.
