Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes!
BRATTLEBORO >>The Stroll Weekend kicks off with a big downtown block party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.! The central block of Main Street will be closed to traffic to make room for food and craft vendors, entertainment of all kinds, music and dancing in the street, and fun for all ages.
Stores and restaurants are open as well, and, the festival coincides with Gallery Walk, downtown Brattleboro's festive monthly first-Friday stroll from gallery to gallery, so gallery venues will be hosting openings of new art exhibits.
Our Main Street Stage will feature Alan Greenleaf and The Doctor. Local entertainers are invited to set up elsewhere or roam the street. And inside our headquarters, the River Garden, our local celebrity food judges will be tasting loaves of bread and choosing the winners of our Great American Bread Recipe Contest. Also at the River Garden, you'll also find exhibits by the Competition's sponsors, and our exhibit of Farm Art.
And, for adults only, at the rear of the River Garden, our third annual free tasting of specialty spirits and beers distilled in Vermont! This tasting features the following vendors:
14th Star Brewing Company
Caledonia Spirits, Inc.
Appalachian Gap Distillery
Saxtons River Distillery
