Brown Bag Lunch includes live music and poetry

BRATTLEBORO — All Brown Bag Lunch events take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Robert H Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., and are free and open to the public. This week's schedule is as follows:

Monday: No Brown Bag Lunch .

Tuesday: Enjoy live music with Michael Hertz and Bunny Macauley . Folk, blues and gospel, with Michael on acoustic guitar/vocals and Bunny on vocals/harmonica, covering artists from Blind Blake and Blind Willie McTell to Bob Dylan and Tom Waitts, and more.

Wednesday: Explore retirement strategies for w omen with David Shorter from VALIC

Thursday: Terry Hauptman will do a Poetry Reading and talk about her Scrolls on exhibit. Terry Hauptman will read a few poems and then focus on The Songline Scrolls. ... how music, poetry and the way light moves through the body, spiral through each other to create a unified whole. She will answer questions and talk about singular vision, collaboration, and process.

Friday: No Brown Bag Lunch.
