Brown Bag lunch schedule for the week of Dec. 21

BRATTLEBORO >> All Brown Bag Lunch Presentations take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., and are free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, Dec. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. share a hot cup of coffee and warm conversation with someone new to you. Conversations cards and coffee are provided. The project brings together two cross-sections of our community — those who experience homelessness and those who have stable housing.

On Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 1 to 2 p.m., come enjoy festive music with Rich Grumbine on guitar, whose last River Garden concert was a musical tribute to the Beatles.

On Wednesday, Dec. 23, experience "Bad to Be Good," who has an all-original repertoire with Marvin Bentley's robust and burly voice, Dennis Waring's wailing saxophone, Bentley's thumping bass, and Pat Kelly's grooving drums. This band defines a new style of VT-grown down-home music with lots of soul.

On Thursday, Dec. 24, embody your life with InterPlay. InterPlay is an easy path to an embodied life through affirmation, community, and play. Explore the physicality of relationships and how to achieve individual fullness within the community. Using InterPlay, Judith Reichsman demonstrates how to be embodied leaders and creative followers.

On Friday, Dec. 25, the River Garden is closed for the holiday.

Performers as well as speakers of all kinds are invited to be a part of this series. If interested, please stop at the Stroll office at the River Garden, or call 802-246-0982. During December, the Gallery at The River Garden will feature Coffee & Conversation -—Stories of Homelessness by Liz LaVorgna and Wyatt Andrews. The photography and video exhibit and Community Art Wall installation bring together two cross-sections of the community; those who experience homelessness and those who have stable housing.
