Bunker, Holiday, Margaitis light it up

BRATTLEBORO >> Lynden Bunker knocked down five trifectas and pumped in a league-high 31 points on Sunday at the Gibson-Aiken Center as Chroma crushed DMI 103-60 in a men's Rec basketball game. Josh Barthamule paced DMI with a sweet 16.

Jamie Garfield went off for 29 points in Chadwick Law's 95-80 loss to Walker Farm. Scoring 28 points on Sunday were: Colby Bonnette of Vermont Pressure Wash, Pancake Design's Trey Sparks, and Walker Farm's Jadi Tavares.

The Vermont Pressure Wash team of Ryan Powers, Mike Dixon, Chris Dixon, Colby Bonnette, Kyle Bonnette, and Scott Edwards held Al's Towing to a day-low 52 points.

In women's league action on Monday, Molly Brunelle finished with a dozen points to lead Chroma to a 44-33 decision over Marina. Ashley Gomarlo (16 points) and Vanessa Canill (10) did the damage for Marina.

Annie Holiday and Kate Margaitis each poured in 19 points as Houghton hammered Lawrence & Lober 55-29 in the other matchup. Melissa Belcher netted nine points to lead Lawrence & Lober.
