Tom Nunziata elected president of Youth Services board

BRATTLEBORO -- On July 1, Tom Nunziata assumed the role of president of the Youth Services board of directors, taking the reins from Barbara Gentry whose two-year term has just ended. Nunziata has been on the agency’s board of directors for the past three years in a number of leadership positions.

During his tenure on the Youth Services board, Nunziata listed vice president and golf tournament committee chairman among his roles. He is on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Committee and on the agency’s finance, governance and development committees. He has served as a mentor in Youth Services’ Big Brothers Big Sisters program since 2011.

Nunziata has lived in the Brattleboro area since 1973 with his wife, Gail, and retired four years ago after 36 years with United Natural Foods as Vice President of Purchasing. He is also currently on the board of the Friends of Algiers Village in Guilford.

"I’m looking forward to carrying on the legacy of strong leadership at Youth Services and contributing to the great work we do for the youth of our community " Nunziata said.

Rachel Selsky of West Brattleboro was elected board vice president.
