Children at First Baptist Church will sing ‘I Will Make You Fishers of Men’

Saturday February 2, 2013

BRATTLEBORO -- Some of the most precious stories in the Bible are found in the gospel of Luke. This Sunday at the First Baptist Church, 190 Main St., Pastor Suzanne Andrews will recount how and why Jesus invited fishermen on the shores of Galilee to leave their nets and follow Him.

Worship begins at 10 a.m. Sunday School children will leave for classes after they have joined Jan Stinchfield in singing "I Will Make You Fishers of Men."

The pastor will sing "Come Down to the Lakeshore" accompanying herself on the guitar.

All are invited to share in communion and to the fellowship time following the service.

This is Souper Bowl Sunday. All kinds of soup will be stacked at the altar for the Drop-in Shelter.
