Christi places 39th to lead Saints

BRATTLEBORO — The St. Michael School boys cross-country team finished 12th out of 15 schools at the Division 3 state meet on Saturday in Thetford.

Jacob Christi finished 39th overall in 20:27 to lead the Saints. Rounding out the team's scoring were: Stephen Borst (21:07), Ezra Christi (22:03), Nathaniel Pierce (23:25) and Michael Kelliher (27:50).

Thetford's Malcolm Silver-VanMeter won the 5k race in 17:43. Stowe prevailed in the team scoring with 35 points, followed by Thetford (60 points) and Randolph (82).

No. 4 Bellows Falls football at No. 1 Burr and Burton, 1 p.m.
