BRATTLEBORO -- A traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 24, at 4:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. The candlelight service will be repeated later in the evening at 10:30. "He Came Down" is the theme for this highlight of the Christmas season.

With a traditional liturgy, the singing of real Christmas carols by candlelight, the sharing of Holy Communion, and the resounding instrumental and choral music, the service will warm and inspire your hearts with the proclamation of the Birth of the Son of God and the Son of Man, Jesus Christ.

The following Sunday, Dec. 30, at 10:30 a.m., the service will highlight Christmas lessons and carols.

Trinity Lutheran Church is at 161 Western Ave., across from the Holton Home.
