First Baptist Church
BRATTLEBORO -- As we worship together on this, the third Sunday of Lent at the First Baptist Church, 190 Main St. in the center of Brattleboro, Pastor Suzanne Andrews shares a prayer for our Lenten journey:
"Heavenly Father, be with us on our Lenten journey. Help us remember the loving sacrifice Jesus made for us. He died for the forgiveness of our sins so that we may have eternal life with you. We thank you for taking us away from the bondage of death and promising us new life with you in Heaven. Remove our fear and replace it with Faith, knowing that you are all powerful and forgiving. Show us the better life you intend for us where barriers no longer divide and peace will be ours at last."
While we continue our welcome to the homeless in our Overflow Shelter, we are also mindful of the mission efforts nationwide with our America for Christ donations, we join thousands in building community of justice and hope across the United States and Puerto Rico. Offerings will be receive throughout the month of March.
CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- Although a deeply symbolic and traditional part of our year, Asbury Church challenges its congregants to take this journey toward Easter in new, out-of-the-box, and transformative ways.
This week, in a service entitled "The Coconut Coffee Club," we are reminded that this is a journey we don’t make alone. Asbury invites everyone to join in their journey, by joining in worship on Sunday, March 23, at 10 a.m.
