Circus at the park


WEST BRATTLEBORO >> On Monday, July 4, the New England Center for Circus Arts is offering a free show in the park! The performance is in collaboration with Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department and wholly sponsored by Mondo MediaWorks.

NECCA will set up a freestanding aerial rig on the ball field at Living Memorial Park. Show time is 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. and it will be a high flying presentation featuring advanced and professional level students.

The world-renowned, Brattleboro based school offers lessons for all ages and all abilities and attracts high level students from around the world to attend its recreational and professional training programs.

For those who want to try a little circus this summer, camps are available for youth in the air conditioned Cotton Mill studios and summer drop in Flying Trapeze classes for age 7 through adult are up and running at the school's outdoor location at 10 Town Crier Drive in Brattleboro (advance registration required). For area visitors, customized instruction is always available for solo or group circus experiences.
