Claremont woman gets 25 years for sexually abusing toddlers
NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire woman has been sentenced to at least 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting two toddlers in her care and recording videos of her husband allegedly assaulting the girls.
Ashley Blood of Claremont pleaded guilty in Sullivan County Superior Court in Newport to two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts to manufacturing images of child sexual abuse. I
According to reports, her attorney, James Mulligan, said his client thinks the sentence is for the best.
Police arrested the 26-year-old Blood and her husband, Kevin Blood, in December. Investigators recovered 13 videos of the abuse from a computer flash drive.
Kevin Blood remains jailed on $500,000 cash bail. He faces trial in the fall.
