BELLOWS FALLS >> Members of the Bellows Falls Woman's Club will gather at Bellows Falls Union High School on April 12 for the annual club sponsored Arts Show. Members are reminded to not arrive at the school before 11:30 a.m. and to sign in with the attendant upon entering the building.

The student's pre-judged art work and entries by the Family and Consumer Science Department students will be on display. Club members will vote for their favorite pieces. A luncheon will be served by the Family and Consumer Science Department students. Following that, the club members will go into the auditorium for musical entertainment and the awarding of prizes for the art and quilt displays. This is the 41st year of sponsoring the high school arts show.

At its March 8 meeting, Christine Bullard, Executive Director of Parks Place Community Resource Center, spoke to the club. She highlighted the collaboration and networking among the thirty five agencies which use the facility for meeting with people, all with a common mission of "moving lives forward." She showed a video of the center's 20th anniversary celebration held in 2015. Christine emphasized the role that volunteers play in the daily flow of this community resource center.

The Bellows Falls Woman's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
