BELLOWS FALLS

Members of the Bellows Falls Woman's Club will meet on Nov. 14, at the United Church, School Street, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The program will be provided by the Rockingham Free Public Library. New members will receive their GFWC membership pins. Members are reminded to bring non perishable food and personal care items to be donated to the Fall Mountain Food Shelf, packed in, if possible, the tote bags handed out at the October meeting.

Extra bags are available and all donations will be gratefully received. There will be further discussion about making a donation to the hurricane relief efforts in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

Women can sign up to attend the Kurn Hattin holiday luncheon and concert to be held on Dec.14 at this

meeting.

The Oct. 10 club meeting was preceded by a luncheon hosted by the executive board members.

The meeting program was presented by Lisa Dumont and Sarah Manning, who offer a fitness program known as "Fit Body Forever" at their fitness site in Westminster.

Several club members attend the sessions and gave testimonies to the positive impact of the exercise routines on their physical health and sense of well being. A very successful food and bake sale was held on Oct. 28, held in conjunction with the Walpole Library's annual book sale. Proceeds are earmarked for the club's high school

scholarship.

The club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Women interested in joining the club may contact Barbara Comtois, Membership Chairman, at 802-344-0025.
