Sunrise Rotary Club
BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. at the American Legion Post 5, 32 Linden St., in Brattleboro. More than 40 members of the club work toward improving the community through business and civic partnerships that benefit area programs serving a variety of charitable causes. The public is always welcome.
BRATTLEBORO -- The Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 2445 will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the club home, 54 Chickering Drive, Brattleboro. All members are welcome.
BRATTLEBORO -- BrattleMasters, the Toastmasters club in Brattleboro, will meet twice in November, on Thursdays, Nov. 8 and 29, beginning at 6 p.m. The meetings are held on the second floor of the Marlboro College Graduate Center, 28 Vernon St. Guests are welcome and there is no charge to visit.
Designed for people who want to improve their public speaking and leadership skills, the club offers a warm and fun atmosphere. Members learn by speaking and working with others in a supportive environment. The club is affiliated with Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization incorporated in 1932.
Current members reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. In December, the club will resume meeting on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
