Clark University

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Beth Honsaker of Putney, Vt., graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Environmental Studies, cum laude, from Clark University on May 20. As part of her degree program, she spent a semester in Queensland, Australia, with the School for Field Studies. Honsaker, a graduate of Brattleboro (Vt.) Union High School, is the daughter of Karl and Miriam Honsaker of Putney.

Union Institute & University

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The following Brattleboro, Vt., residents earned degrees from Union Institute & University in May 2012:

Earning a bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Studies were: Lisa Adams, Coretta Bliss, Wendi Byther, Wendy Cluff and Ryan Hockertlotz

Barbara Vitalis earned a master of arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

SMITHFIELD -- Bryant University has admitted the following local students to the Class of 2016: Jordan Davie-Stefanik, a Actuarial Mathematics student, of Newfane; Sarah French, a Actuarial Mathematics student, of Vernon.

Eastern Connecticut

State University

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- Sarah Bemis of Brattleboro, Vt., has enrolled at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic for the fall 2012 semester.

Endicott College

BEVERLY, Mass. -- Nathan Simeon, a member of the Class of 2013 at Endicott College in Beverly, has received a Jean Shanning Smock ‘61 and Martin V. Smock Scholarship. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Simeon of Hinsdale, N.H.

This scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is a member of the college crew team and has high academic standards. Simeon is a Computer Science major.
