BRATTLEBORO -- Brattleboro’s Kassidi Ramirez pitched a scoreless first inning on Tuesday night at Tenney Field, before a storm forced the umpires to postpone the varsity baseball game between the host Colonels and Burr and Burton.

The Senior Night festivities took place before the first pitch. Brattleboro 12th graders Hunter Smith, Chris McAuliffe, Kevin Tao, Jeff Kerylow, Rob Heileman, Ryan McAuliffe, Dan Richardson, Adam McPhail, Michael Rooney, Jimmy Mills, Gene Buckley, and Mark Dixon were all honored.

The 9-5 Colonels never got a chance to hit, but their batting order looked like this: Hunter Smith, CF; Kassidi Ramirez, P; Chris McAuliffe, 1B; Kevin Tao, 3B; Ryan McAuliffe, DH; Rob Heileman, 2B; Jimmy Mills, SS; Dan Richardson, RF; Michael Rooney, LF.

The make-up game was scheduled for May 28 at 5 p.m. The Colonels will play at rival MAU tonight at 5.
