Colonels tie Cosmos, 0-0

BRATTLEBORO >> On Senior Night, the Brattleboro Union High School varsity field hockey team played Springfield to a scoreless tie.

"Senior goalie Olivia Weeks had an outstanding game. She saved 10 shots on goal, including a penalty shot," said Colonels co-coach Sherryl Libardoni. "Senior Maddie Fortier was solid on defense and in transition, where she used her strong drives to clear the ball down the field."

Kharisma Boyd, Meara Seary and Kalin Noble also played well for Brattleboro, which will finish its regular season at Fair Haven on Saturday.

"The Brattleboro Senior Night proved to be very exciting," noted Libardoni. "The entire team played with intensity."
