Davis to read from short story collection

Posted
BRATTLEBORO — Richard Davis will read from his recently published book, "Well Traveled Roads," and sign copies at Everyone's Books on Elliot Street in Brattleboro on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.

A long-time Reformer columnist and registered nurse, Davis has written a collection of short stories that are informed by his years of experience as a nurse and observer of the human condition that tell stories about life-changing issues that all of us eventually face.

A review on Amazon noted, "This is a collection of crisp, interesting, and very human vignettes. Poignant. Provoking thought and shedding understanding. The author has drawn from his years helping people as a nurse, a neighbor, and a friend. The stories are touched with real sadness, but the operative word is real. It is rare that an author shows such caring and kindness for his very individual characters."

The book is also available on Amazon.com.
