Defending champs go 8-3

BRATTLEBORO — Seniors Shane Clark and Logan Cota finished with 22 and 15 rushing touchdowns respectively to lead the Bellows Falls varsity football team, which finished with an 8-3 record.

The Terriers were seeded fourth in the Division 2 playoffs. Clark ran for 211 yards during a 61-21 rout of Lyndon in a quarterfinal, while Dylan Clark, Ben Asack and Jared Zobkiw all had a sack during a 22-16 upset of top-seeded Burr and Burton in a semifinal.

On Saturday in Rutland, the defending champions got an interception from Shane Clark and Ryan Kelly during a 46-20 loss to second-ranked Fair Haven in the title tilt.
