Dixon's, Walker Farm, Maullers atop standings

BRATTLEBORO >> In men's league action on Sunday, Chadwick Law flattened Al's Towing 75-63, Green Mountain Creamery outscored Vermont Pressure Wash Painting 66-63, and Dixon's Painters defeated Brattleboro Ford/Subaru 90-81.

Keith Lyman sank nine free throws and finished with 29 points to lead the lawyers. The high scorers for the other five teams were: Al's Towing's Robert Rea (27 points), Green Mountain Creamery's Owen Blake (23), VPWP's Mike Dixon (20), Brattleboro Ford/Subaru's Corey Bauer (22), and Ryan Boyle (32) of Dixon's Painters.

In Friday's games, Cota & Cota denied Brattleboro Ford/Subaru 92-84 and GS Coating edged Rice Appraisal 63-61. Cota & Cota's Winston Sailsman (24 points), Brattleboro Ford/Subaru's Shane Spivey, Rice's Steve Kapral (16), and the GS Coating duo of Tim Fellows/Casey Slate (15 each) were the top guns.
