Dover Blueberry Festival set for July 30

WEST DOVER >> The 9th Annual Blueberry Festival Parade is set for 10:30 a.m. on Route 100 in West Dover on July 3o.

There will be floats, live music, vintage cars, a contest with prizes for blue-inspired spectators, a barbecue, a blue tuxedoed parade marshal, skateboard, dance and Tae Kwan Do demonstrations. Visit Vermontblueberry.com for further information.

The 6th Annual Blueberry Festival Craft Fair in West Dover is set for the same day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of artisan crafts people line the Valley Trail beginning at Layla's Riverside Lodge, 145 Route 100.

The Living History Association hosts its events on July 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk through historical re-enactor camps from third century Rome to the modern day. Admission is free but donations are accepted. At the Dover Forge, 183 Route 100.

Northeast Military Tattoo presents "Marching Through the Ages," at 7 p.m. A tattoo is a themed performance by military or military styled groups and bands. West Dover's Tattoo includes dynamic series of civilian volunteer and professional musical and military themed demonstrations. This year's theme is a salute to America's service men and women. At the Matterhorn Inn, 248 Route 100.
