Drive Through Nativity to be held Sunday evening at Methodist Church

BRATTLEBORO -- Worship on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. celebrates the second Sunday of Advent with the theme, "Peace." The Rev. Cheryl Meachen will present "The Hanging of the Greens," a series of stories describing the meaning of the various Christmas greens.

Scripture from Matthew 3:1-12 telling the story of John the Baptist will be read by Ron Francis. Holy Communion will be celebrated.

The annual Drive Through Nativity will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. depicting the story of Christ’s birth in nine scenes with costumed characters and animals. There will be an opportunity donate canned goods or cash for the Drop In Center.
