CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- Edwin "Butch" and Barbara (Collins) Fletcher of Chesterfield, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. High school sweethearts, the two were married on June 21, 1963, in Brattleboro, and honeymooned in Ogunquit, Maine. Throughout the years, Maine has continued to be an important part of their lives, playing host to many family vacations.

After enjoying a very happy and successful 50 years together, this year they returned to Maine to celebrate their anniversary, in the company of their children and grandchildren. Attending were: son Brent, daughter-in-law Dena, granddaughter Chelsea, grandson Nick, along with daughter Alison Knapp, son-in-law Hiram and grandson Quincy.

The whole family spent time enjoying each other’s company and reminiscing in a beautiful, oceanfront setting. Not only were many stories shared, bringing back lots of wonderful memories, but also many more new memories were created.
