Exit 3 Mobil held up Saturday morning

BRATTLEBORO -- The Exit 3 Mobil Station on Putney Road was the scene of an early morning robbery Saturday.

The Brattleboro Police Department reports that a white male entered the store at around 6 a.m. and demanded money.

No weapon was shown, the police say, and the clerk gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the suspect is approximately 50-years-old, with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and had scruffy facial hair.

The robber allegedly fled the station on foot and headed south on Putney Road.

Police are looking at video and other evidence.
