Fire destroys home in Putney; 6 homeless

PUTNEY (AP) - A family has escaped a house fire in Putney.

The Red Cross says the family of six includes four children, ages 3 through 16.

The fire destroyed the home on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Cross has assisted the family with lodging, food and clothing.
