Fire officials: Hang glider pilot crashes on Mt. Ascutney
WINDSOR, VT. >> Fire officials say a hang glider pilot was uninjured after he crashed on Mt. Ascutney.
The Windsor Fire Department tells WCAX-TV it happened on Saturday. The pilot crashed at a popular gliding spot about 30 feet below the launch site.
Authorities say the pilot was able to get out of the harness and climb to safety. He wasn't immediately identified.
