First Baptist Church of Bellows Falls to focus on Jesus’ message of salvation

BELLOWS FALLS -- Services on Sunday, Aug. 17, at the First Baptist Church of Bellows Falls will focus on how Jesus’ message of salvation is available to all. Sometimes we forget about how gifted we are to live here in the United States. The Gospel reading tells of a Canaanite woman, an outsider, who is looking for help for her daughter. The title of the sermon is "Lord, Help Me."

All are welcome to attend for worship, music and community. Sunday School will resume in September. Child care is provided following children’s time.

Pastor’s office hours for this week are Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Bible Study is Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. where the group will look at special Bible passages. Bring a favorite passage.

For more information, contact Pastors Steven and Terri Walton at 802-463-3220. The church is located at 9 Church St. in Bellows Falls. American Baptists serve others as "the hands and feet of Jesus."
