Five new members to be welcomed Sunday at Centre Congregational
BRATTLEBORO -- Five new members will be welcomed into the congregation of Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro at 10 a.m. worship on Sunday, April 14. They are Michael and Heidi Mario, Sam and Tracy Murphy, and Patti Reardon. The Rev. Carra McFadden will deliver the sermon titled "Come and Have Breakfast" based on John 21:1-19. Micah Ranquist will play guitar for the prelude. Christian Huebner is organist and choir director. Fellowship Hour follows and all are welcome.
After the new members join, Kidz Club will meet under the direction of Michael Mario, director of Christian Education. They are studying the Acts of the Apostles. The C.E. Board is hosting a "jam session" in the Riverside Room on Saturday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. This will be intergenerational with all instruments welcome.
Senior High youth who wish to be considered for a scholarship to the Star Island Youth Conference this summer are required to submit their request before May 14.
The Fundraising Committee will host a Spring Jumble Sale on April 26 and 27 and a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on May 18.
